Bio:
Ryan Vail has been in the dance music scene since the early 2000s. Ryan started spinning around 2005 under the moniker Syke. As Syke, playing mostly breaks and some drum and bass he got his first residency at Kazmos with the Wicked Wayz Krew. He then went on to be a hand in creating the Mile High Bass Junkies with Dj Yahru el Guru. He then moved on to help create Outbreak. Playing everything from camping festivals to underground warehouse parties, his name grew around Denver. Ryan began working with others and changed his name and style. Changing his style strictly to Drum and Bass and Jungle music he also changed his handle, first changed to Mortise then $hred-it both as an influence of a collaboration project. Then Ryan, with a few others, created Altitude Sickness. Shortly after he started to refine his style he decided to be represented by his actual name, Ryan Vail.
Ryan Vail resides in Denver and holds residencies with Altitude Sickness, The Distinguished, Quite Low, and Drum and Bass Proper. Ryan Vail has rocked many events and most venues in Denver. He has played alongside many greats and for the top DNB crews in Denver, such as Recon, Quite Low, Reload, Q-Vents, Denver Juke, Altitude Sickness, and many more. He has had appearances at big nights in USDNB such as QVLQV Puerto Rico, Respect LA, Seattle Tuesdays, and Melt DnB Phoenix. If you have a chance to catch one of his sets, it is highly recommended. His sets depend on the atmosphere and the arena but usually contain a mixture of light and dark elements, futuristic and next-level beats. With his progression and heavy, deep, and dark sounds he brings a different and refreshing energy to the dance floor.
