All originals on this bangin’ CGRadio Sessions featuring W.A.S.H.

Bio:

W.A.S.H. – an acronym for We Are Sh*t Heads, is a DJ/producer duo comprised of two feisty ducklings known as Duckie and Puddles, hailing from Phoenix, AZ, USA.

The ducks’ sound includes a wide array of EDM subgenres, from Twerk to Trap to Moombahton and back. It’s party music, plain and simple! From 2017 to the present day, W.A.S.H. has become a staple touring group in the American southwest by performing only their own original music and remixes, they have gained a loyal following of ducklings throughout the region and internationally.

By Summer 2019, W.A.S.H. had grabbed the attention of prominent global bass duo Fight Clvb and released ‘Machine Gun Boogie’ through their label Fight Free on August 2nd. From there, the ducks hit the ground running with releases on Flex Up Records and Pax Machina, along with gaining support from high-profile artists such as Rico Act, SHARPS, Duckworthsound, Bvss Tactic, and more. To close 2019, W.A.S.H. embarked on a ten-show regional tour throughout Arizona and Las Vegas that included opening for acts such as Rezz, Ghastly, Ape Drums, Vincent, and Slimez.

W.A.S.H. then started off strong in Spring 2020 with their release ‘Closer To You’ on Valentine’s Day via PZYCCO, and is now ranked in the top five most-streamed tracks in the label’s history. It was followed up with the ducks’ second release ‘Bugatti Booty’ via Fight Free on March 5th, containing high-energy basslines and infectious vocal loops that have remained stuck in listeners’ heads for weeks. After the rise of the global pandemic, the duo did not slow down from dropping their celebratory stoner anthem ‘Burn Right’ (feat. Too$ick) on April 20th via Only Trap. This release revived the label and peaked at #14 on Beatport’s Best New Trap & Future Bass chart in April, and further landing them the eighth spot on PLAYLISTNATION’s Trap & Bass Playlist on Spotify.

Despite the unprecedented times our world is facing, it did not stop W.A.S.H. by any means from spreading their wings and showing their loyal ducklings what they’re made of. Their sound can be best described by Henry (@hiddenhen) of Space Yacht as “…Trap and Jungle Terror meets Hardcore”, and gives the ducks a broad spectrum as the leaders of a new wave in bass music by experimenting with their own unique yet jagged edges.
