Bio:

DJ Dig-Doug got his start in 1984 making hip-hop and electro mixtapes for his breakdancing crew in Detroit. In the late 80’s he cut his teeth in the Detroit Techno scene spinning at after-hours events and house parties until he moved to Florida in 1992.

DJ Dig-Doug originally made a name and reputation for himself as a DJ, promoter, and event producer throughout the Orlando and Central Florida area during the funky breaks explosion in the mid-’90s, turned-on to jungle and drum-n-bass in 1994 he eventually abandoned the breaks scene and became an everyday junglist in 1997.

Dig-Doug emerged in New England in 2000 and has shown boundless energy for pushing the sound forward, leaving his footprint all over the New England Jungle and Drum & Bass scene, he quickly became a perennial favorite with his signature funky, hard-hitting, sub-genre bending live sets and mixtapes. Between his heavy gigging schedule as both a supporting and headlining DJ throughout the region (opening-up for the likes of legends such as Digital, Friction, Remark, John B, Machete, DJ Dara, AK1200, Aphrodite, Voltage, Quadrant & Iris, and World of Drum & Bass with Drumsound & Baseline Smith, DJ SS, and Crissy Criss), while playing regularly at seminal East Coast weeklies like Elements (Boston) and Konkrete Jungle (NYC), as well as Producing and Promoting the New England Junglists “UNITED” Events, Revolution Podcast, and clothing/ merch line, Dig-Doug has his hands in everything jungle in New England today.
