Cruise into the weekend with this mix from Seattle’s DnB Tuesday resident Robert Kruser aka Detcord!
Bio:
In today’s day and age, the over-saturated music market is adulterated with countless acts wielding no true passion. They pollute our beloved music scene for the wrong reasons. That being said, Detcord is the antithesis of the above statement. Robert Kruser is a self-taught musician through and through, requiring no class or synthetically-obtained abilities, and his organic tendency to take on a project he is ambitious of is wholeheartedly natural. Although his sights are set on producing in the near future, being a perfectionist motivates him to master his abilities behind a set of decks first. He got his first taste of the battlefield in 2013 in the desert of Arizona. Once established and accepted by our 174 scene, he was billed on a large majority of our esteemed – events. He astonished crowds from every festival from Bloodfest to Mary-X-Mas, and was asked to return to Bloodfest 3 years in a row, after that. Soon after, he graced the stages in California at Big Bass Theory, sending yet another message by carving his name into the halls of drum and bass, one state at a time. Now, Detcord has taken his final leap into the Seattle drum and bass scene, where he courageously entered the 2017 DnB Battles and placed 1st, in round one. His affiliations include Junglist Radio and Kage Media. Over the next few years, we recommend you take proper notice of this man and his creative ambitions, before long- he’ll be sharing his signature sound with the world.
