CGRadio Sessions 28 – DJ Contrast

This episode of CGRadio Sessions features a mix from a Denver/ SoCal based artist with affiliations with legendary U.S. crews such as M.I.A,  Recon, Upgrade, and Hipstep Massive. DnB Fridays coming through with this mix from DJ Contrast!

Bio:

Influenced by the Denver rave seen in the mid to late 90’s, Contrast came to through break dancing and going to warehouse parties as a young teenager. Now mixing for over 2 decades in clubs from the Midwest to the west coast, he has held residencies at some of the top club nights in the country and worked alongside some of the leaders in the industry as a solo act and as part of an old Denver based Drum and Bass tag team (Contrast & Vortex). Over the years he has primarily been known for mixing Drum and Bass and is always paying homage to the godfathers of our musical generation of all genres, educating the new ravers as well as invigorating the old heads, by not just slamming new tunes, but curating a set where classics are just as viable as unreleased tracks and well-known bangers.
