CGRadio Sessions 08 – Joey Mojo

In our eighth installment of CGRadio Sessions, we have an exclusive mix coming from Los Angeles based Joey Mojo!

With 19 years of gigs in most US states, Toronto, Antwerp, and at the world-famous Cheeky Monkey in Amsterdam, Joey Mojo also keeps bumping it locally up and down the west coast. A musician since childhood, Joey was trained in piano, guitar, percussion, and cello. After studying Music Industries at San Francisco State University, he started working backstage productions in 2006. As a professional audiophile, Joey is a live sound engineer during the day and a closet producer at night. Quality, complexity, and cleanliness are words he lives by.

After holding down residencies in the Bay Area with crews such as Stamina Sundays, Primitive Science, and Advance Thursdays, as well as underground rave crews Evolution Entertainment and Tri Atom Collective, he has broken back into his hometown scene in Los Angeles and beyond with his unique and broad style. Most recently, Joey has been involved with the Bridging The Gap series alongside Mc Dino, Mcs Zee, Caddy, and A2 from Toronto, Canada, Starz & Deeza from London, UK, and Camo MC from Christchurch, New Zealand.

His current affiliations are crew member/sponsored DJ with Fugitive Sound Session and Divine Rewind. Joey has also recently taken on a role with his favorite US label, Digital Terror Records.
