Biography

Atlantic Connection is the LA-based DJ/producer pioneering his own style of “future soul,” a signature blend of soul, R&B and bass music. Atlantic Connection’s achievements in electronic music have spanned well over a decade, establishing himself in the world of Drum & Bass throughout the late 90s – early 00’s. His prolific output and technical abilities behind the decks have garnered worldwide touring and releases on some of the most elite labels in the genres including SMOG Records, Slow Roast, Soul:R, V Recordings & CIA. His 2012 release ‘Love Architect’ earned high praise across the board, from Complex Magazine, who called it a “feel-good album that’s perfect for summer sunrises and proper pool parties” to DJ Craze, who named it “one of the smoothest albums I’ve heard in a long time…an audio orgasm from beginning to end.” His ‘Love Architect Remixed’ album was released in July 2013, with reworks from Kastle, Bro Safari, Sinistarr and more resulting in multiple licensing deals adding to the momentum of Atlantic Connection’s trajectory. Infiltrating the world of television, film and video games, AC’s productions have become a regularly heard on MTV, VH1, Fox Network and featured in films and video games for Paramount & HarmonixAtlantic Connection’s debut SMOG Records EP ‘The Limit’ was released in 2013 on SMOG Records, and saw support by some of the scene’s most notable including Sub Focus, Skream & Benga, Zed’s Dead & DJ Craze. It’s title track “Push It To The Limit” in heavy rotation on BBC Radio 1 & BBC1xtra (MistaJam). Showing no signs of slowing, 2014 ushers in a wealth of new projects, productions and remixes including SMOG Records, Liquid V, Hollywood Records, Fokuz Recordings & more. Atlantic Connection’s unique approach and signature sound has allowed him to carve out and maintain his own niche in electronic music’s evolution.
